Bokat was recorded in Uppsala, Sweden in December 2023. “Just for fun” turned out to be so enjoyable and so good that we immediately decided this would be an album. Two voices, two handheld mics, two spring reverbs and a lot of chin-scratching later, we are happy to present you with a lot of Bokat.

Roomet Jakapi is Roomet Jakapi is a free improv vocalist from Estonia. Jazzwise has called him a "highly alternative Bobby McFerrin being." Roomet is also an academic philosopher and the author or co-author of four books on topics ranging from philosophy to bureaucracy.
