Grim is the debut album by Tall Tales.
Punzmann, Wahlström and Baars have been making music together in various ways for several years while touring in Sweden, Austria and Taiwan. Grim explores the dirt beneath their nails and the rainclouds in their minds using instruments like guzheng, theremin, saxophone, voice, turntable and a gaggle of electronic accoutrements.
The music of Tall Tales is heavily inspired by the dark medieval folk tales of Central Europe, the basis for the Brothers Grimm seminal early 19th century publications.
